Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every order placed with Paper Bag Co. ("we", "us"), a paper bag manufacturer and wholesaler based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, shipping pan-India. By placing an order, requesting a quote, or using this website, you agree to the terms below.

1. Quotes, orders & minimum order quantity

Prices shown in the catalogue are indicative and may vary based on final specification, print requirement, and order quantity. Many products carry a minimum order quantity (MOQ) shown on the product listing — orders below the MOQ may not be accepted, or may be quoted at a different unit price. A quote is not a confirmed order until we accept it in writing (including by email) and, where applicable, receive the agreed payment.

2. Pricing & GST

Unless stated otherwise, prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR). GST is charged at the applicable rate in addition to the quoted price and shown separately on your invoice. Prices for made-to-order and custom-printed goods may change if you amend the specification, quantity, or artwork after a quote has been issued.

3. Custom printing, proofs & artwork

For custom-printed orders, we will share a proof (digital or physical) for your approval before production begins. Production starts only after you approve the proof in writing. We are not responsible for errors that were present in an approved proof. Any artwork, logos, or trademarks you supply for printing must be yours to use, and you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to reproduce them.

4. Industry tolerances

Paper bag manufacturing involves natural variation in material, colour, and cutting. A reasonable tolerance — commonly up to around 10% — may apply to quantity delivered and to bag dimensions versus the quoted specification. This is standard across the paper packaging industry and does not, on its own, constitute a defect.

5. Payment terms

Payment terms are agreed at the time of quoting and confirmed on your invoice — this may be advance payment, payment on dispatch, or agreed credit terms for established accounts. Custom and made-to-order production will not begin until any required advance payment is received.

6. Delivery

We ship pan-India. Lead times shown in the catalogue are estimates from order confirmation (and, for custom orders, proof approval) and are not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, force majeure, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

7. Damaged, incorrect, or missing goods

Please inspect your order on delivery. Claims for goods damaged in transit, delivered incorrectly, or short-shipped must be raised within 2 business days of delivery, with photographic evidence where possible, so we can investigate with the carrier and arrange a resolution.

8. Cancellations & custom orders

Stock orders may be cancelled before dispatch, subject to any costs already incurred. Custom-printed and made-to-order goods, once production has started following proof approval, generally cannot be cancelled or returned, as they are manufactured specifically to your specification.

9. Returns

For stock (non-custom) items, contact us within a reasonable period of delivery if you wish to return unused, unopened goods in their original condition. Custom-printed goods made to your specification are excluded from returns unless the goods are defective or do not match the specification you approved.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, design, and the Paper Bag Co. name and marks — belongs to us or our licensors. Artwork you supply for custom printing remains yours; by submitting it, you grant us permission to reproduce it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time you place an order applies to that order. Continued use of this website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
